Well, I would like to play them on wii using the WiiSX emulator, but it can only read the image files if they are in .bin format.

Usually when you download them from this site, you recieve it as a .mds and .mdf or .iso, I did search and till now, no results..

How do you convert it to .bin?

I am back :), Thanks in advance.

Mount the image with a utility like Daemon Tools. Then use another utility like IMGBurn to make a copy of the Image in .BIN format.

Imgburn only gives me an option to create the new file as .img or .iso or I'm doing something wrong?

What version are you using? My copy can do ISO, IMG, BIN and WAV.

Actually, It worked.. I typed .bin as the extention with All files set as the option and it worked.. Thanks.. although it might not work.

I Do not know how .bin and these specific extentions work.. and how there built.. so yep :(.

aye, when I view the total size of the virtual drive it is 623 mb, and when I look inside and see all the hidden files I highlight all, right click and press properties. I see 236 mb
and In imageburn do I chose both folder and files inside them using the options and it ends being 523 mb.. this does not make sense. -.- :(

Are you choosing "Create Image file from Disc"?

read speed should be? tried 4x/4x and then it ends up giving me an error stating "illegal Mode for this track"

Personally I always go lower, like 2x. I don't know if it makes a difference when you are using an emulated drive though.

It doesn't matter in this case.

aye, what if I use universal extracter to extract it from the .mdf and then ill build it using imageburn using the option "build image from files"..
or write them to a cd then use the option "build image from disk"

    TirithRR Well-Known Member

Don't use the "Build image" options.

Write Image to Disc and Create Image from Disc are all you ever need to use when doing this.
