PSX EMULATOR help...

Okay, so i'm sort of new to PSX emulation, because the whole time I've been on this site, I've only done DS Flashcarts, but how the hell do you use a PSX Emulator?

 

It depends on which emulator you get. theres PCSX, ePSXe, and PSX. theres a few others but these are the best. I would recomend you get PSX because you dont need any plug-ins. all you need is a Playstation BIOS and a game

wait wait, how do we burn it into a disk, so my PSX can read it? I'll just play on that instead....

 

Download the game, use Alcohol 120% or imgburn, burn the .cue file that should have came with the .bin file, if not, just burn the .bin. If you get a .iso or something else, just burn that. Make sure you choose Image Burning Wizard for Alcohol 120%. Name it etc. and burn it at the slowest speed possible. You will need a modded PSX also.

Yes you will need a modded PSX or you can use the old swap and stick trick.

also, I need to create an image file for my Starcraft, Sims, Command and conquer trilogy, and alot of other games so I don't ahve to put in my CD's, or hunt them in my room

 

ImgBurn and Alcohol 120% can do that for you. I recommend ImgBurn since it's free.

 

wait, what if I donwnloaded off of here, and I got .sub, .img, and .ccd

Which do i burn? and onto a DVD disk right? because it won't fit on my CDRW

 

You burn the .img file, make sure all of the files are in the same folder. No, you have to burn them onto a CD-R or CD-RW. What size is your .img file and how much can your CD-RW hold?
