Can someone help me out here? When I was playing Chocobo Dungeon 2 on the ePSXe emulator, the game quit when I tried to cast Thunder on a generator in Cid's Tower the first time I went there, it gave me some error. What can I do?

tell us the error message and your computer specs (ram, processor and graphics card, OS is also useful). Also tell us what version of ePSXe and which plugins you are using.

I can't remember the error message but I DO remember playing the game on a computer running Windows XP, ePSXe version 1.6.0, P.E.Op.S. GPU, Eternal SPU. Does this help or do you need more info?

I just thought of something, but I need you to tell me if it's a good idea or not.

Will I be able to mount the game via Daemon Tools and run it from there? If not, at least I tried, right?

yes but it won't make any difference to this problem.

Try using one of petes graphics plugins, pe op.s is a software renderer which is much slower and more CPU intensive, there is a link to a plugin pack in one of the stickies (yes its now working). Chocobo Dungeon 2 is a Squaresoft game, and games by that publisher in general tend to work better on ePSXe 1.5.2. Other than that, the best thing you can do is give us your hardware specifications, and try to find out what the error was
