    Hey guys.

I need a little help, everytime i run a PSX game on my PSP it loads the first bit them the screen stays black, i'm using POPSLOADER and 5.00 m33-6 the game in Particular is Armored Core (The first one).

I've tried every POPS config available (3.00 - 4.01) and the Game is still not loading did i do something wrong?

I converted the ISO into a EBOOT file and placed it in H:\PSP\GAME\Armored Core

i've looked EVERYWHERE on the internet and nothing works

In case this helps, i overwritten my Flash 1 + 0 with some thing i forgot.

What program are you using to create the eboots?
What error do you get when trying to play the game?

Other users that have had this issue with Eboots have had it fixed by using a different program to create the Eboots.

    Try out PSX2PSP 1.4.2
    http://dl.qj.net/psp/tools-utilities-on-pc/psx2psp-v142.html

You will need to find a "base.pbp" file to run it correctly. Once you get it, it works very well, I have never had an Eboot fail.

    Run the PSX2PSP program.
In the lower right, click the button labeled "Convert menu"
In the field "ISO/PBP File" click the "..." and load the game (IMG, BIN, ISO, what ever it is)
It will automatically fill in most of the other data.
In the field "Output PBP Folder" click the "..." and select a folder (Desktop is fine, but you can create a new one called anything. This is where the eboot will be created.

    Then click "Convert"

    Still not working.

Mike said something about a KEYS.bin?

I never did anything with keys.bin, and I run a PSP 1000 with 5.00M33-6, and popsloader.

    No, it's not.
I just downloaded it, converted it, and played it on my PSP.

Maybe your PSP was flashed bad? Maybe your eboots are not created correctly?

If it's from here it's not the case.

But what firmware are you using exactly?

I managed to get my project phantasm (of armoured core) working on 5.00m33v6 and even the current 5.50GEN series.

And it's missing sound because...it's not from here XD

I got my Armored Core via Peer 2 peer (Torrent)

    It work fine before!

but i guess i did something to my PSP.

    Could be it.

What flash files did you alter?

...You could try flashing the psp again and see if that helps.

I had an altered wave on mine...it had issues so I killed it.

    YES FINALLY IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    -Gives thanks to Pspisoz-

It was probably something with my Flash1 or my game was incompatible.

    As I thought.

BTW, to get 1.50 homebrew games working on any cfw enabled psp, try adding a "1.50pbp" file to the root of the memory stick, and placing those games in a game folder called "GAME150" and changing the settings in the recovery meny so the kernal is set to the game150 folder.

Some great ones only work on 150-homebrew of course :)
