Check this out.... http://pspslimhacks.com/first-psp2-dev-kit-photos-leaked/ First thing I realised was there were no UMDs....(>T^T)> Then I saw the 2 thumb sticks!! (>^~^)> Now all I want to know is the battery life and the $$$$....
I read into it, apparently it's been confirmed by EA that it is real...but I can't confirm if the confirmation is accurate. It does look nice...but they need to fix the stick design, I hate the go mostly because of stick placement. Also I seen this article on a few sites...even gamespot...words gets around...
Meh, looks fake to me and it looks very similar to the psp go which i think is rubbish. rumoured to have twice as much RAM as the xbox 360?
Those high specs mean nothing if they can't get big name games onboard. The psp is way better than DS, but DS has all the big name franchises that sell the console.
You guys can keep calling it fake all you want, I'm pretty sure that this is the real deal. I remember my husband years and years ago before I joined any forum, telling me about the Xbox 360 leak and how he kept saying that the name was terrible and how bad the console itself looked. It came out with the name '360' and the exact same design that was leaked. They did, it's in a high position than before. Hopefully this is real (and I actually believe it is), and there's two analogue sticks in a more comfortable area than both the PSP and PSPGo, and I hope to god they don't stick with the sliding screen thing, that thing breaks easily with use. No they didn't, EA confirmed the existance of the PSP2, not this design, in fact no one has come out and saying that this design is true.
No UMD slot, hope that doesn't mean the games will be PSN type downloads only. Especially since the games will most likely be pretty huge in compared to the PSP.
It might be an AP thing.... But thats stupid cause then all of the old PSP games will be useless so nobody will buy it....
If this is the actual design, I highly doubt Sony will go this way, especially considering how much of a fail the PSPGo was. My guess is that it'd use a cartridge based format, it would conserve battery life and it would have better load times. Also, considering how much fail UMD was as a format, it wasn't too good. Cost too much to produce, had somewhat long loading times, drained battery life when in use, and the space available isn't really manageable when you're dealing with higher specs than the PSP.
one other major advantage of cartridges: reliability. Discs are all very well in a home console but they dont work very well on the move.
