is there a program that helps you find out what region a psp save file is? I need it for disk changing psx games ff9 to be exact. I finished disk 1 yesterday and now disk 2 keeps saying "no save data found" I believe its because they are different regions.

If you connect your psp to your computer and look inside psp --> savdata you should be able to see all the diferent save files that you have.... If it says 'xxJxooooo' its a jap game, 'xxExooooo' its a eur game, xxUxooooo' its a usa game.... The 'x' means letters and 'o' means numbers....

most of my games saves start with SLUS or ULUS-but they are for GTA.

You should of had disc of the same region and made the game so it comes as one big eboot file to avoid this.

My tip is to re-download the other disc, download both regions...to be sure

Also checking the save data is easier on psp games, not ps1 conversions since it saves to a virtual memory card...so ANOTHER tool is needed.
