hey, lol first time making a thread, i usually just lerk around so please move this if its under the wrong topic. im thinking of getting a psp, i usually play my nintendo ds when my friend come over, or watch movies on it while on road trips. hehe i like alot of the psp titles and that u can play ps1 games on it pretty much multiples the library of games. whats the best psp to hack? i wanted a psp 3000 cuz it has skype but i hear you cant mod or hack it so i guess its out of the question is there any programs or anything that i need to be able to play roms please mention them. ( im a newb ) also if do i need to connect to the internet to get ps1 games from my ps3? because i got some ps1 games from qore. thanks xD
3000s are not fully hackable and most don't have the necessary firmware on them in order to even think about using Custom Firmware Enabler of ChickHEN. what is psx games? and im confused about the psn store? i need that so i can go on the psn store? i could just use my ps3 as a download station xD is 6.20 the newest patch?
I got a PSP 3000 Rockband Pack a couple months ago and it had 5.02 firmware (hackable). Plus if it doesn't have a hackable firmware, then just return it. PSX=PS1 Also even though a 3000 is not fully hackable (you must reapply the firmware every time you turn it on) CFW 5.03 GEN-C does not let you turn your psp all the way off, which makes it pretty much permanent.

Well, if you brick your PSP, then I don't know of a way of unbricking it unless you have CFW. So if you're doing it the first time, then I suggest that you have a Pandora no matter what you think. It's too risky not to have one.
