So i just modded my new psp using pandora battery and im also going to buy a new memory stick. So am i going to have to MMS my new mem stick or is there someway to "un-pandora" a battery.
What you're asking are two different things entirely.... You need to make a magic memory stick with Magic MMS maker - http://pspslimhacks.com/rains-ultralite-mms-maker-for-500-m33-4/ Well, if you bought the battery from Dealextreme, then you can't "un-pandora" it i think. if you made it yourself, then you can unpandora it. i'm writing a guide on psp hacking guide...i'd upload what you need, but it's in my giant dvd/cd collection...i'd have to go through over 200 cds/dvds....T_T......
Ok... sorry for being so vague. I have a 1000 using a pandora battery and a MMS. Now pandora batteries can onli work with MMS right ? So when i buy a new mem stick will i have to MMS that aswell or can the battery be "un-pandora'd". Oh and i pandora'd my battery using this guide- http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/f133/video-tutorial-the-ultimate-guide-to-hacking-upgrading-t247791/post1264548.html And MMS my mem stick using this guide- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdqfBNlgD7s
Just format your Magic Memory Stick with that program that i posted above. You just can use your memory stick....it doesn't really matter if it's MMS certified or what...i use a splitter memstick for my psp and it holds two micro sd cards....it's an MMS as well. and i don't know how to unpandora a baterry...i never had to...i just bought one from dealextreme.com i'll add more to this...don't worry.
A purchased TOOL Battery (pandora) can't be changed into a non-Pandora battery. A hard-modded battery can be de-modded back into a normal battery (just a jumper you cut needs to be put back in place, or vice versa, I can't remember exactly). A soft-modded battery can be turned back into a normal battery. But you have to have made it using the homebrew programs available for modded PSPs. I believe all they do is spoof the serial number of the battery internally which tells it that it is a TOOL battery (don't quote me on that though).
Yes it can Tirith,Ive got one They are a new white slim one that can be used as a normal battery or press a button and it changes into Pandora mode. Do a search on Google LOL...
That's not the same as the usual TOOL Batteries, and unless you buy the one that works as both, special made, the normal TOOL battery can't be used as a normal battery.
I knew before But when talking about a cheese grater, I'm not going to say what a blender can do (just because it can also "grate" the cheese). If the user in question had a selectable battery like the one you are talking of, they wouldn't be asking if they could use the battery as a real battery, since it'd be pretty obvious when you purchased it that it has a selection to be Pandora or Normal, and can then be used as a normal battery.
Why did you write this then. The original poster didnt even buy a Pandora,he said he made it. It sounds like "hard cheese" to me lol.
I changed my hard modded Pandora battery back to a normal battery. On the PSP 1000, I resoldered the pin on the EEPROM thing. On the PSP 2000, I scribbled pencil graphite where I cut the wire to the EEPROM.
using your battery as a pandora battery kills its life by alot so you best bet is to get a new battery
^No. It still runs as a battery, but you need to turn it on differently. (Plug in AC, insert battery, remove AC)
I Know,I am saying that the actual Chem part of the battery takes a beating( the Cell that sits behind the board) and its total capacity is lessened, unless you happen to own a battery Reconditioner (a really expensive piece of equipment) you wont get that much life from it especialy when we can get 3600mha Batteries for cheap now even if they are generic
