PSP Possibly bricked?

    I have no other way to put the topic name, namely because the only way I know how to tell you about the problem requires me to explain it in detail.
    My PSP does not play regular PSP games anymore, or emulated PS1/PSP games. It gets to the PSP emblem with the bubbles going everywhere then freezes.
    However, it can run emulated NES, SNES, MAME, and GBA games after that point. Movies also don't work. Yes, I have downgraded, and I've tried to reset it.
    Any information would be great. I've had this problem for about a year... so, I haven't tried upgrading the firmware. My friend walked me through it, and to be honest, I know NOTHING about this stuff.

    not bricked...

    try see if there's anything corrupt on your mem card (anything showing 0kb)
