PSP Phat hacking

    my brother has a 1st gen psp and i wanna hack it for him help. i want a option that is free hes got the latest software

    It's gonna be quite difficult to do it free unless it's under OFW 5.03. You can find that out in system settings.

    Go to settings on the far left, press x on system settings, go to system information, which is the one above the last.

    For example, mine reads: System Software:6.20 TN-B

    Either way you're going to have to spend money getting a bigger memory card.

    Might as well just tack on $8 for the pandora battery...

    It's probably just easier and a better investment to get a Jigkick battery (part of a Pandora Battery) and just hack it with the Pandora method. It's not hard at all. It only takes me around 10 minutes to get a PSP running 5.50 Prome-3.
