how does it work with games


do i needa buy one memory card of 4 gb for 2 games and then buy a new one or what to do

first, you need to know if your psp is hackable. if you have a psp 1000 series it is fully hackable. some psp 2000 series are hackables, it depends on the motherboard it has. and psp 3000 series and psp go are not hackable so far. then if its one of the hackable psps, its important to know what official firmware your psp is at, because you have to downgrade it to add custom firmware.

1st - downgrade psp (model and ofw)
2nd- make psp battery into a pandora battery
3rd - upgrade from ofw to cfw
if you get it to work, i suggest getting a 16gb card, because games are kinda big. from 500mb - 1.6gb aproximately. so the card pretty much depends on your gaming needs.

 

3000 series can be hacked(partially) if your OFW below 5.03.

And I use 2 x microsd cards in that adaptor you buy from dealextreme since sony pro duo sticks are extortionate.....

 

i use that too!! i use 2 16gb micro sd cards

 

So i have a 3000 silver collar wich comes with the monster hunter freedom united combo pack

you can probably try looking if you can downgrade. but most likely, you wont be able to hack it

3000 with OFW 5.03+ can't be downgrade.

 

Nope. There is an exploit in the 5.50 OFW that allows you to install CFW temporarily on the PSP 3000 just like the 5.03 and lower trick.
But you need a specific UMD or something like that to make the hack work.

I dunno. Never can tell with the PSP Scene. It's slowly dying since Dark Alex left and Sony is finding exploits and patches them real quick once they're released.

 

I bought an extra two from Dextreme,only to find out it was the type that only takes 1 x microsd (my fault)LOL

You may want to get one with a broken UMD,they can be picked up for cheaper......

You don't need a UMD drive if you have a flashed PSP.

Do what you like pal.But your missing out on a lot of stuff as several emulators can be put onto the PSP once its hacked.Ace can list them-like GBA,NES,Sega etc etc....
