Ok. So I just got my PSP today. Its the new slim PSP, and I was wondering if there was a way to downgrade it to 1.5 so I can play ISOs without Pandora's Battery. My current version is 3.71. Is there any way to downgrade that version to 1.5 without Pandora's Battery or something that you have to spend money on? My version is not 3.71 M33. It's just 3.71. Its a brand new slim PSP, so is it possible? Please reply soon. Also, if I do a network update, and I update it, what version will it update to? Will it update to the next version? or the latest version?

I don't know about downgrading, cause the shop I bought it from did it for me. But as for me, they said DONT TOUCH the network update!! If you are lucky, you just can't play pirated games. If not, your mother board may be corrupted.

hardware cannot get corrupted, and nor can it be directly damaged by software

Maybe after downgrading it does not recognize the new software and problems may occur when attempting to read it?

Is it true that the PSP Slim can only downgrade to 3.60?

YES! Slim can only go down to 3.60. - So downgrade it using Pandora. once your at 3.60, just upgrade it using 3.71M33. There is a readme file inside the download. If you need specific links, ask and I will place the here for you.

Kinda, it can run CFW of those though, but can run a 1.50 that's combined with 3.40hw and 3.60 via Time Machine
