i'm very new to the psp gaming and i have a new psp 3001 and i was wondering what i would need. is this is the right place to post this topic if it's not then please move to the right section. thanks in advance
As of now if you're firmware is over 5.50 on a 3000, then you can't play downloaded games. :\ But you can play a GBA emulator - http://pspslimhacks.com/gpsp-hbl-mod-gameboy-advance-emulator-for-hbl/ http://pspslimhacks.com/first-patapon-2-save-game-exploit-homebrew-via-half-byte-loader-beta/
You can't at the moment. It would have to be 5.03 firmware or lower. (for a 3000) But there is an way to play some homebrew and a GBA emulator. psphacks.com is your friend
thanks for the suggestions and i'm sure i will be able to try those game boy advance games. can i use those gba games here and load it onto the psp
Yes you should be able to. I'm not sure about the compatibility though, and you'll need a GBA BIOS. http://www.psp-hacks.com/2010/04/05/gpsp-hbl-mod-gameboy-advance-emulator-for-half-byte-loader-released/
You're welcome. You're going to need the gba bios. You can get it here - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OTQ5XSHZ From - http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=6326.0 Just rename the bios file to gba_bios.bin or else the emulator won't work properly. And yes, just put the GBA roms from the site into the PSP/GAME/gpSP folder along with the gba_bios.bin.
okay now what to i do i already followed and save them into the memory stick and how do i get it going
