psp help

    i jsut bought a used psp today. its a psp 1000 ( it has 1001 on the bottom)
    the firmware is 5.51.can i gett custum firmware using the pandora method without getting a brick??

    Yes, the Pandora method should work on the PSP 1000 with any firmware. This is a hardware exploit, so I do not believe any of the firmware levels can stop this from being used. People still use the Pandora method to downgrade to CFW from 6.00 OFW after playing new games which required it.
