psp help

i need help on my psp its psp-3000 5.03
i need to run gba games or if lucky iso and csos ive tried many things i see on the net but nothing happens still help please

hey my psp's a 3000 and do NOT try any of the hacking stuff that works on 2000 and 1000!!!!!!!!!it doesn't work..........
anyone know a way to hack 3000??????????

Just read up to the HEN part-you will need to change your psp settings-HEN is very unstable...

ANd for best results-download "CFW enabler" so you can use most of the latest homebrew programs-and once you locate pops-psx game transfers

The correct way to run chickHEN:

1. Power on your PSP.
2. Scroll left to the “PHOTO” icon
3. Scroll down to “Memory Stick”
4. Select memory stick. (Either press X or O)
5. If there is a folder which says chickHEN, select it.
6. The chickHEN photos will load from top to bottom. Do not touch anything
7. If PSP hangs and powers off (normally with a “pop” sound), restart process from step 1. You might need to do this up to 10 times!
8. If PSP automatically restarts, you are done!

To verify, scroll left to settings, scroll down to system settings, scroll down to system information. Under “version”, you will see 5.03 chickHEN R2.

Troubleshooting
These suggestions might help to improve success rate.

1. Remove any extra pictures you have added into the PSP
2. Remove UMD
3. When pictures are loading, scroll down to picture number 2.
4. Power on your PSP from standby mode just before you run the pictures. (Put PSP to standby by briefly switching power to “off”)
5. Restore default settings
6. Enter Settings, System settings, Character set. Change Language to multilingual.
7. In memory card, if you see a egghun.bin, delete it.

As long as your firmware is 5.03, the chickHEN exploit can be used. It also works for PSP 3000 with 5.03 OFW.

my system version is 4.20 so please send me a detailed tutorial so that i can play psp isos.......

 

1. The ??? is there because you're abusing the ? key. Trust me, one ? is enough.
2. Upgrade to OFW 5.03.
3. People have given you detailed tutorials.

 

asifrockstar3000, I know places selling the hacked PSP 3000 with 5.03 OFW. So yeah, it works. And tehuber1337 is right, the guide has been given, why don't you try reading and doing it? If you encounter more problems, then come ask for help.

so when you restart the psp it goes to the original firmware?
if not is there a way to reset the firmware?

 

It resets when the power goes off-that's all there is for your model.


If you want psx/psp iso play-get cfw enabler...


If you want your psp to stay-then use standby mode to preserve the effect-but if your psp freezes...well, you will have to resart

 

oh that sucks is battery death included?

 

If the psp die's in the middle of a game-it should preserve it-it's standby

I had that happen-but if it's a total freeze then expect to restart it.

And believe me-it will happen-if you use alot of homebrew programs.

Yes-but you know the differance between standby and power off right?


Power off only happens when


-You rip out the battery

-You hold the power switch until it shuts down



Just a quick flick is all that you need-or (if cfw enabler has it) use the menu for standy
