Hi guys.A few days ago,i find a websites call http://pspslimhacks.com/ that probably include everything a psp owner can want.HOWEVER,there is a page that say a save data exploit is released and a Eloader is coming soon. So,what exactly is a eloader ? Can it play homebrew game ? And can it brick my psp ??? P.s:sorry for my bad english
An eloader basically boots it's running code from an already running game (the current one works with the patapon 2 demo-once you load up the hacked save file it'll run whatever program you want). It won't hurt your psp in anyform, and technically it's not a hack, it's just an exploit in the software... It can do homebrew, but only certain kinds (special ones made because it requires not overly complex homebrew...for now anyway) and nothing more (so no ps1 conversions/psp iso games).
It can't even run the gba emulator they made for it (doesn't work on 6.20 but on older ones it works-WTF). The point of the eloader IS to work on 6.20. And you already know the site, there is download links on the news articles....
No. You can't hack 6.20 OFW yet. You can only do what they provide unless you can find exploits and make homebrew work.
The Daxter Edition and the Star Wars Edition with Darth Vader on the back are fully hackable. I flashed my friend's Daxter edition PSP-2000 a few weeks ago with no problems. I even bricked it a couple of times, but now it runs just fine with GEN-D3. If it were free, I'd definitely take it .
Tirith,Ill buy you one if you want-since I won £3000 on Bayern qualifying in the football-and because of the help youve given me to get the bairns Slim running great. LOL Ace-youve managed to mod one.i think Raul should get a Phat so he can play the majority of games....
Sorry, since I'm in the US, the playstation site directs me to that portion, which is where I got the link. But yes, if he's not in the US, he'll have to use the playstation site for his region.
yes,i'm not American. However,my psp was able to connect with psn. There no such thing as free, but at least i can download some cool demos(like the star wars battlefront)
We kinda already explained the situation. But I'll explain. No chickHEN, the firmware is too high, and the eloader isn't advanced enough to run anything decent yet.
