Even though the game was released yonks ago I still can't find any fixed to FF8 freezing so much.

Anyone know off or found out any fixes.

    Using 5.00 M33-6

Holy mother of lack of proofreading.

Anyways, upgrade to the latest PRO (pretty much nobody uses the M33 or PROM CFW's anymore), apply the permanent patch, and get popsloader for the 6.0+ firmwares. Since it looks like you're on a 1000 or 2000, you should still be able to use all versions of popsloader, and a better CFW.

Otherwise, get the PSN version. You know, the version that was released officially, and, well, works.

Update your CFW, then. Like I said, nobody uses that CFW these days, and it may be the entire problem.

Check out the PSP hacking section on GBAtemp. There are a couple of guides that will get you upgraded. I should mention, you have PSN access without newer CFW. You'll need a new popsloader package, though, for 6.0+.

For PSN version, the default pops on PRO is well enough to play. No need pops package.
