PSP download help

Hi Im new and this is my first post so if its in the wrong place or has answered somewhere else, sorry and please point me in the right direction

Im trying to put games onto my mates PSP memory card. The PSP has been 'done' but the disk of games I have are all saved WinRar. Not a problem when Im doing my R4 card for DS but cant get them to play on PSP. Not sure how to check what software is on the memory card already. :'(

Just extract the files with Winrar, you will end up with ISO or CSO files. Put them in the ISO folder on your memory stick.

 

Just like nds games-you can't run the games as rar files.

Extract them-should be in ethier iso, cso or DAX files.

If they are in the ISO folder in the root-or the begining of the memory stick when you open it-you'd be fine.

 

Right when I extract im only getting a SMC file type. Any ideas ???

 

SMC is not a PSP game. SMC is an SNES game ROM.

You want to play PSP games, right?

 

Yep want PSP games. Was told that I could load them onto the PSP aswell. But not by the looks of it lol.

 

Can you locate what the firmware of the psp is so we can better help-and which games your trying?
