PSP Display Issues

    Okay, notice on the bottom screen how it looks... off, cause of the text where it says "Data Install" is all lined or blurred out. Could a magnet be a cause of this? How do I fix it? Sorry for the large pic, posting from phone.

    Magnets do not affect LCD screens like they do CRT Screens. Magnets affected CRT because they changed the electron beam path and caused it to hit the wrong photocells on the screen.

    Does your PSP do this all the time, or only when you play certain games?

    All the time, just started recently. How do they affect LCDs? I think it is just screen death, hYpNoS told me that in a PM.

    I'm pretty sure the Magnets won't affect an LCD at all. I would say that since it's all the time that your screen is bad.

    Of course, magnets are never good around electronics for other reasons (certain storage devices, etc.)

    Yeah, I know. I jjust caught my bro playing about 1 foot away from the PSP with magnets.
