Have you tried formatting the stick?

By using a memory stick adaptor connected straight to your pc rather than the psp it can be fixed...and a pandora/tool battery can fix the psp.

Tried formatting using both methods somewhere in time. Didn't work. Plus I CBA to buy a pandora's battery/softmod a battery.

Then prehaps you used a soft mod to hack yours...interesting.

WHat a shame...I would say hae you tried it without any memory stick, but I assume you already tried this?

    Oh well.

You're assumption is correct. It works perfectly without the memory stick. However i'm not sure if I used a soft mod to hack it. The guy I gave it to (I saw him do it) used a pandora's battery if i'm not mistaken.

Same like an error I had recently...

Then it's pandora modded then and not a soft mod like how I first did mine.

I guess you need another memory stick-but borrow a friend's just incase it turns out to be the psp-best safe and not waste money right :)

So what happens when you put the memory stick in after you power up your PSP, and then try to format it with the PSP's format option?

Prehaps something to do with the way it's set up, ethier a plugin or an auto booting eboot could be the cause?

I had a spare on me and I tried this...

My problem turned out to be a plugin (thought the problem was the psp internally until I stumbled upon something-no stick helped because no plugin's were active XD)

The memory card won't read. The LED light that shows if a memory card is inserted blinks every second.

You might need to Repartition the Stick. At the shop i work at weve been having more and more customers come in saying that thier memory sticks are faulty but its the FAT32 Table gets easily corrupted after constant Read and Writes that Homebrewing presents. So try and get yourself a partioner that works in Windows and compleatly reformat it.
