This may sound odd posting this on this forum but I bought a psp with 3.03 oe-c firmware and I dont care for it, if i format my psp to factory settings, can i get the latest real firmware or will i have to do somthing else?

That cfw is really old lol but just update it and it wont have cfw anymore.

If you format your PSP, or revert to factory settings, it won't change the firmware.

But like Goldyboy said, you can just update to 6.20 OFW if you wish.
I would update to 5.50GEN D3-2 instead though.

Having official firmware is only good if you got money to burn...

But having cfw means you'd need a decent internet plan to take full advantage of it's features :)
