PSP CFW Overclock and Memory Stick Speed increases.

So, I believe in CFW 5.00 M33-6 there was a Memory Stick speed increase option added (before it was just a plugin, I believe). Does anyone know if this option is harmful to your PSP or memory stick at all?

Also, changing the clock speed, does that harm your PSP at all? I know that overclocking your computer too much or even a little with the wrong hardware can be dangerous.

 

Overclocking your psp does no harm. You will notice games will go a bit smoother and your xmb. The memory increase option is good only if you didn't install an old patch that increased your speed(its the same one just without having to install it).
