PSP 5.0 Firmware out now!

PSP OFW is out now, and of course Dark_Alex has already released his version of CFW 5.0M33

Same deal as any other update, simply put the 500.PBP files into the "UPDATE" folder and put into game folder on PSP memory stick. Run the update from your PSP and your good to go.

 

1.5 Kernel for M33 5.0 out now too. Well, it was actually released a while ago, but anyway...

 

Don't forget that you can download the update using the wifi connect if your custom firmware is recent enough

Is it me or is the 5.00 M33 cannot play some games?

I had God of War on my 3.7 M33, works fine, wanted to play Patapon but that didn't work so I upgraded (in one single step is that safe? LOL I am so new to this...why is this so much harder than upgrading NDS?)

Now that I have 5.00, patapon works, but god of war and some other games stopped working. Can I fix this problem? or do I have to wait till someone comes out with a better version?

 

^ GoW worked fine on my 5.00M33...? And yes going strait up to 5.00 from 3.71 is fine.

 

Really? :S maybe its the version of your firmware. I think I'm using version one... I'll try installing version 4 then

btw how do I downgrade CFW if say I still can't get my games o work? is it the same process as installing?

 

no to downgrade youll need to use a pandora to go back to 3.71 and then back up to whatever firmware you want.
