Hi guys.I just bought a new psp 3005.But it seems that my psp can't hack.Many of my friends who own a psp run a software call chickhen,but i don't know how to use it.Plz help me !!! (is this illegal ??? )
What firmware level are you using? (Go to the system settings and look it up). If you are above 5.03, then you are out of luck and won't be able to use Chickhen
There is an exploit at 6.20 though, there is some big news about it on psn sites. http://pspslimhacks.com/psp-6-20-save-data-exploit-released-hello-world-6-20/ No games or anything like that can be done yet, so I'd suggest you wait, if your firmware is 5.03 you have it easy (doubt it though-I'm guessing you got this new) and if you got 5.50 you have something to work with (but the hack for that is no longer updated-so newer games won't work).
Don't hold your breath, it might not be much good...and if interest for it dies then you can't do much if your on 6.20 (so sit back and wait...but don't expect much-hurts less when it all goes down ) And while we call it hacking...technically your just flashing the system :
Id like to know why people buy them things.I got a 2003 new from Argos 7 months ago which was fully hackable.Isnt the 1st priority to get a system that plays the majority of games.
Generally people just buy what's new and works, unless they are in the nerd catagory or heard some info, then they'll research and THEN buy what they need. I got a psp 3000 sitting around waiting for the hack if lucky...though my 2000 will keep me going until then XD
