psp 3000 hack

    is it dangerous to hack the psp
    i mean is it gonna break or not

    The PSP 3000 cannot have CFW installed on it.

    Running the CFWE exploits will not brick it because they don't modify the flash0 files. You have to have 5.03 OFW to use them though. There is an exploit for the 5.50 OFW but it requires a certain actual game.

    i read in other sites that it is possible when you dont upgrade your psp in the begining

    You cannot install Custom Firmware on your 3000, regardless of the firmware level. And the exploits to run games can only be used on earlier firmware levels. The newest firmwares have no found exploit (publicly known that is).
