PSP 1000 firmware

    can you hack a psp 1000 no matter what firmware it has? and how do you find out? Last time I updated was with god of war chains of olympus.

    Yes, you can. You just need to use a Pandora Battery (works on any firmware level).

    To find out your firmware, turn on your PSP, and go to the far left menu, it will be under system settings, or system info. Something along those lines.

    It says 3.80 can I downgrade with that firmware or do I need a pandora?

    With a PSP 1000, the pandora battery is a nice tool to have since you can update to the latest firmware to play games and use the PSN, then revert back to CFW if you wish.

    But you can install CFW without it by updating to 5.03 and using this:
