PSP 1000, 5.50 GEN D3, PSone games, how do u get them 2 work?

Title says it all. What can i use to any or all PSone games working on it? I was playing Brave Fencer Musashi and it froze after it says Chapter 1. Any advice or info u can send my way? PLEASE??!? ???

You should also look at getting popsloader. This one is for GEN A, but it probably works on GEN D just fine.

PopsLoader doesn't work properly, just use PSX2PSP to convert your game into a PSP compatible game and move the eboots to the GAME folder.

 

What do you mean popsloader doesn't work properly?

 

Works fine with me when I had it, maybe the older gen firmware did, not the current ones.

Actually mike, do explain in detail...

My gran turismo 2 conversion seems to freeze..and changing the pop's loader only speeds the game too fast and not stop the freezing, any moe info dude?

 

How do you plan to play a PSX EBOOT on your PSP without Popsloader?

 

I've been playing A few games on my psp, the only one that freezes is FF8 and the freezes are rather easy to get around. I don't use popsloader but I know sooner or later I'm going to need it =P

 

You don't need popsloader to play PSX games. Without popsloader you are stuck using the default POPS from your current CFW flash.

But in order to play some games without errors, you have to use popsloader to play with previous firmware versions of POPS.
