Was just wondering how most of you have your PS3's positioned? I'm finding out that mine feels less warm when I have it vertically positioned. Wehn I lay it horizontally it seems to feel much warmer..quicker. So let me know everyone Guess I'm just feeling a bit nervous finally joining the PS 3 ranks.

Erm... vertical. I have it plugged into my monitor so I need the real estate for my computer stuff.

horizontal, the disc stays flat and is less likely prone to being tipped over...

it can be both ways. it was made to be able to be both ways, but it cools better if it is vertically. same with the xbox and the wii

While my wii is sideways simply because my big ass ps3 SLIM has taken all the space, I'd rather flat, simply put, while it's designed to lay etheir way I think it'll benifit better if horizontal, I just see gravity pulling the parts down over time.

A guy at a mod shop also suggested the airflow is better this way as well (a customer walked up with a classic 360, me and the shop keeper explained it's better flat, even with the dinky external fan stuck to it).

I do this as well :D
