okay now for the smart people....
So my ps3 is like overheating I think?? because When i load up a game it takes for ever to load or maybe it doesnt load at all because i cant sit in one spot looking at a black screen all day.
So why is my games not loading on my ps3 slim 250GB and when i load up mw2 it just freezes i bought a Cooling fan it will come in a weeks time and if all hope fails im calling sony in....
    to fix or replace.
I went into Recovery Menu and did number 3 and 4 i quick formatted it restored it, and it works but then when i install a game it it does it then half way though it wont budge.....

send it back to sony for repair. people often make it worse when they try to fix electrical appliances.

Not to mention voiding your warranty if you do anything.

Putting it in the freezer is a good way to fix it. I know my PS3 had once gotten the YLOD, so I assumed it was over heating. So I unplugged all the ports, put cotton balls in them so the contacts don't get wet. And I put it in the freezer. Once I took it out, I put some cubes of ice on it and waited until they completely melted. Once all that is done, wait a day and your PS3 should be in working order. It worked for me anyways.

Also as with my 80gb before i swapped to a slim, check your hDD space.

They say above 50% free is advised.

Which is why I'm planning to change the HDD of my slim...
