PS3 Recommendations

I'm getting a ps3 next week, and I was just wondering if anyone would recommend some good ps3 games that are in these genres- rpg, fps, action, racing, and horror(if there is any). Not worried about price.

i am waiting for burnout paradise, devil may cry 4 and dynasty warriors 6

 

Yeah, it'll be cool when Devil 4 comes out and Dynasty 6 come out, I've played those games alot. I liked Devil 2 better than 3 though.

I own a PS3 whatever games you can see on my sig are nice..

 

I recommend Def Jam Icon if you like hip hop, and Need for Speed Carbon if you like racing games (with cop chases) ;D I also recommend Ninja Gaiden Sigma, a very nice fighting style adventure game. I have those 3, and they are a blast! ;D

 

i'd recommend assassin's creed, that's a heck of a good game, the elder scrolls: oblivion, heavenly sword, although it's a very short game, ninja gaiden sigma, call of duty 4, enemy territory: quake wars, guitar hero iii, kane and lynch: dead men, ratchet and clank future: tools of destruction, rock band, the orange box, the simpsons game, uncharted: drake's fortune, unreal tournament 3 and smackdown! vs raw 2008. that's my list.

 

I agree with you jin, but one game that is kind of bothering me is Smackdown VS Raw 2008. I feel that 2007 was better, because of the roster. But the only reason I like 08 is because of the commentary. 07 commentary is f***ed up. I was going to get 08, but I don't know if the rumor about how "24/7 mode was too short" is true or not.

 

the 24/7 mode is not too short, but it's the gm career and the superstar career in one, and you can't have both at the same time. you either have gm or superstar career.

 

yep thats true. ive heard of that, but SVR08 in Canada being 59.99 is alittle TOO much. So I'll wait ;D

 

I would never recommend those.

 

I'll take those games into consideration. I've got Assassin's Creed, Heavenly Sword and Call Of Duty 4.

smackdown! vs raw 2008 i understand, but, kane and lynch: dead men, i don't see any reason to not like that game.

also, more games: eye of judgement, dmc4, burnout paradise, need for speed: pro street and skate.

 

Eye of Judgement look good.....I hope konami will make Yu-Gi-Oh game that way......just like the anime.

 

I am just saying to avoid the game just see the reviews on game sites.

 

If you've got someone to play it with, I recommend Army of Two. Story isn't as long as I wish it was, but online multiplayer should be more than enough to keep you occupied.

 

You should play GTA4!!! Its awesome dude! I have it and the missions are cooler than the precious GTA games, and fighting with fists are more fun (for some reason)
