Probably going to sound like a silly question, but say if I download an add on,full game, exclusive demos or what have you from PSN to my PS3 can I go over to a friends house and log into my PSN account and download them again to their PS3 and not have to pay again or will it still charge as a "new" download? My main reason I am asking is I have access to the God of War III demo from buying the collectors edition and I was curious if I could download it again onto my friends system plus there are other reasons as well. Personally I wouldn't think it would be so easy but thought I would ask anyway.
it should charge as a new game again because i don't think the game people are that stupid =P and also theres a code, and usually the code can only be used once with whoevers PSN account
haha definatly don't worry i get these times when i think i can but then i think again and im like awww mannnn :-[
You can indeed log into another ps3 and RE-download things you've purchased on PSN. However, most things have a re-download limit. I believe it's 5 downloads before you have to pay for it again. Be careful to leave yourself a spare download for the real reason to have these extra downloads. Say you get a new ps3 for any reason - like my brother's got stolen - then you'll want to be able to re-download all your stuff onto your new system without paying for your games twice. My bf has traded Call of Duty map packs with one of his buddies so they could split the costs of getting all of the packs. Works just fine.
Same here, i share with a friend of mine all the time. you can DL each game on up to 5 different ps3s, your user account will need to remain on that console for other people to continue to play the game. They can play it on their own profile, just need to leave yours saved on the console.
