If I go back to Canada, I want to pick a PS3 slim. But I'm not sure if it's worth it. Should I pick something else? P.S.: I already have a PS2
I consider it worth it. Anything that allows me to play PS1, PS3 and let me play Blu-Ray Films is worth the price. If you have the money for it, buy it.
If it had ps2 as well i'd get it... But $550 for an older 60Gb ain't worth it Just make sure it's using the same region disc as yours...for blue ray movies I mean-games are region free Is it cheaper than where you are now? And if your...say from another tottally different country (ie Britian) you may need adapters... Just saying from my past experiences with japanese consoles.
canada is NTSC, most of the rest of the world is PAL. Even if the games/consoles are not region locked that could cause issues unless the PS3 is capable of decoding both PAL and NTSC and outputting either.
I had heard that apparently, the system can run any region games. Lol...second hand dealers are selling jap imports-normally they'd never take them XD
lol the ps3 slim is only 299.99$ can now and to be honest it looks really nice, like i know the picture on the box looks like shit but once its out it actually looks nice
I thought the same thing when I picked mine up it fits just right on my entertainment center. PS3 slim will play PSX games, but it will not play PS2.
oh, well, screw it. I'll just get a DSi or another DSLite since it's real cheap, and dsi i hve never tried.
Well the slim is a bit easier to locate, the older models are also good depending on which one you choose especally if you are wanting PS2 compatibility but finding a "new" old model isn't easy unless you order it online.
you mean the slim, or original? I don't think either have been hacked so far :\ I've heard of it, but i've never actually seen much of it.
But getting banned from Live! is a real pain in the arse. I heard It locates your XboX or ypur IP. Eithwer way you have to buy a new console. And for the question, yes 299$ worths it.
