    Is it possible that I can put a PSX img file along with all the other files that came with it, onto a rewritable disc, and then play it on my PS3? I want to try that, but Im hesitating... Any help?

    As far as I'm aware, it depends on your PS3. How much HD has it got?

    I got 80 GB PS3, but what do you mean by HD? Like the resolution?

    HD = Hard Drive.

    And the 80GB PS3 has some retro compatibility problems, the 60GB one is the only one with it fully working. You can try, it doesn't hurt.

    If the disc doesn't work, it'll just say something like ''Insert a PS3 disc, please.'' It won't do anything bad. And I think it's still under warranty.

    Yeah I tried it but nothing popped up sayng PSX Disk or anything.. I made a folder in the CD though, so maybe it has to be on the root of the CD

    edit: dammit computer iis frozen... dont know why, but im typing online on my ps3 :)

    I tried that on my 60GB, didn't work. Just try it anyway, you'll only waste a CD if it doesn't work.

    Aren't you supposed to burn images with a program instead of putting them in the CD?

    Well I tried it on a rewritable CD, so nothing happened. But I could burn the images instead of putting them straight on the CD... How do you burn them

    What the? You just placed the image files straight on your CD? No chance of it working then. I actually burned my Ergheiz image file properly. Use a burning program such as Alcohol 120% or ImgBurn (free) and select the Image Burning Wizard etc. and select the image of the game you want to burn. Follow the rest.

    Also, the PS2 isn't compatible with rewritable discs, at least mine isn't. Try it on a normal disc.

    So will it be guarenteed to work if you burn the image and then insert the CD in the ps3? or is it questionable?

    questionable, probably won't work.
