So I've seen that the PS3 can now be hacked (jailbreak) with versions 3.42 & 3.50 but what I wanted to know is what are the risks?
I have some more questions if it is not too much trouble: So the thing works like this just to be sure: Using that USB key you can install games into the PS3 and after they are installed you can play them without needing the disk and you can store as many as the PS3 internal hard drive can handle (160 Gigs for example)? Can you still play online on those games? I also heard you have to keep inserting that USB jailbreak every time you want to play the games you installed, is this true? Thank you very much for your help in advance ^_^
1. Make sure that you use Hermes' PS3 Payload USB Launcher. And yes, you don't need the disc. 2. No, you can't play online. 3. You need to put the device in every time you want to play your PS3. If you don't, then the games won't work at all. You're welcome.
