Hello, as you know I just got me a 80gb console.

Now, I can understand the MAX space being 74gb because of the "buffer" as I call it...

But my drive after spending 4 hours formatting it reads 64gb free of 74gb...

Should I have used the restore option or the format?

And is that right or...is there something I missed..I used the full format, and didn't partion off any of the drive for ps3 data.

So it really takes the full 10gb of space that is being "used"?

I'd thought it be 1-2gb at the most.
