Name: Rogue Galaxy Developer: Level 5 Publisher: Sony Computer entertainment Japan Genre: Real time Role playing game Platforme: Sony Playstation 2 Certficate: 12+ (Teen for america) STOP RIGHT THERE BOY ! There is no need to sell your ps2 a great game is upon us Rogue galaxy and Im going to guide you though it in this review Story: This game is not a generic RPG like final fantasy is. It's a story of Bad vs Bad. You play as Jaster Rogue and his pirate friends by pirates I mean treasure loving pirates not people who download roms or movies. Anyway there are quite few planets each with there own design own enemies and bosses with a unique story aswell. Gameplay: This RPG is in real time however there is a twist instead of enemies walking around the map or a sudden fight where your brought to a circleir battle screen. However battles do start with a warning sign this is the best time to go to you're menu to prepare for the battle at hand like selecting a group command one will have the AIs choose a diffrent target one will make them focuse on all the same enemie which is a good idea for bosses one step back makes your Ai's just stay back while you handle the rest the go all out command makes your AI's use potion at there own will. However if you want to escape you just keep running as this is a great way to get past enemies plus you will get a little further on the main map. There is no battle map all battles take place on the main map. However when battle starts some elements will change such as shops will not be accessible nor will save points as stand on one will return your health to its nomal state. So this is a good Idea during battle. In this game you cant just mindlessly just slash at your enemies you have a little blue Gauge that when you use a item or special attack or just a sword slash or gun shot. when the blue Gauge is empty you will have to wait intill it refills however you can put your sword up in a defnese postion however this does not block all damge depending on the enemies stats, however it does refill your blue gauge when your block. Also there is some platforming elements in it. Sometimes you may come across something that prevents you from going foward this is said by a ? by coming up to it you can select the item you need to use to pass however you may not have it so you will backtrack which can be a pain. That be said there are sometimes a special attack Jaster can perform which is followed by buttons needing to be pressed at the right time. Graphics: The graphics make rogue galaxy look like a cross between Anime and star wars. while still giving the coo effect everything looks great from the facial expressions and the attacks. Its colorful and virbrant. Musical score: The soundtrack is wonderful each of them fits its planet and when you go into battle the music fills you with adrenline. Which is needed when your facing lots of enemies. The voice acting really suits the characters however some of them seriously dont. Such as this character called Mio who is a minor character yet she sounds like an american teenager even though this game is japanese. Presentation: The game is well laid out your character stats dont get in the way each planet has a beutiful background that really makes drool, every character is a character nothing is pixilated. The sounds are really nice. And battle is well done. Presentation : 9/10 Graphics: 10/10 Sound: 5/10 Gameplay: 10/10 Lasting Appeal: 10/10 TOTAL: 44/50
Nice review, still a few grammatical errors and some sentence structure problems. But the core of the review was nicely done.
You've got one of these: use photobucket or another image hosting website for your screenshots. remote linking isn't allowed and it steals bandwidth from the original site. anyway, this is a good review. I have never heard of Level 3, but I have heard of Level 5. spelling and grammar, the usual. these graphics remind of dark cloud 2's graphics that have the heavy black border lines.
Dude. Don't get all pissed off at me. I gave you some very good pointers in what I said. Your reviews have been greatly improved since your first one and you should be glad that I said, "Good review." Just fix that last image.
