I'm kinda bored right now so I need some fun PS2 games to kill time. Yes I still have my PS2, I still play it and I don't plan to upgrade to a PS3 anytime soon. So I got some, erm, requests/criterias you could say. 1.Shooters, both first and 3rd person are fine with me but no world war types. Stuffs like Black and Timesplitters are what I'm looking for. Not sure whether I'd like Resident Evil cause the disc my friend lent me turns out screwed. 2.Fun multiplayer games. 3.Games with epic story such as Persona or Tales of the Abyss. 4.Action games where you can just smash lotsa craps such as Devil May Cry, Onimusha and Nightshade. Thinking of trying out Crimson Sea 2 as well.

I will second the entire Ratchet and Jak series. They are both very good PS2 series worth checking out. Dragon Quest VIII is an astounding RPG with art done by the one and only, Akira Toriyama. An engaging (from my experience) 60+ hour game with all the wonderful Dragon Questing goodness we've come to know and love. Katamari Damacy. It is such a weird and awesome game about rolling stuff up that could have only come from Japan. It is worth checking out regardless of the type of games you are into. That is all I can think of at the moment. :3
Definitely that. And if you can, play Taiko No Tatsujin (all of them). Very good games. Not Taiko Drum Master. The English songs ruin the game's exotic feel.
If you like weird japanese games, Gekibo 2 is an absolute MUST...though you could probly tell I would end up recommending it anyway It's one of my all-time favorites.
