with most of my xbox360 games like eternal sonata and magnacarta 2 part of the edge of the screen is cut off. same with my mana khemia 2 game. how can i fix this?(i use a standard def 26-27 inch tv.but i dont know the exact name.) also is it a problem with my tv or my games? mostly it is the bottom of the screen that is cut off.
Re: xbox 360 and ps2 problems CRT is the name your looking for, from the sounds of it it may be your TV since 2 different systems are causing issues, might be how you have it hooked up to the TV. this also assuming the games are retail and not burnt isos.
Re: game problems with screen the weird thing is is that i never had these problems with my old tv which was a really old model and i hooked this tv up properly.
Are you using a "switch box" that goes in between the consoles and TV? Do you have another TV (besides the older model you already mentioned) to hook the systems to or perhaps a friends TV?
not using a switchbox dont have another tv except on which is too big for where i put my tv and i dont have any friends that i can use the tv of.(i only see them at school.)
Bah...well it may be your TV or something with the hookups. This may sound silly, but have you tried cleaning the consoles make sure there is no dust built up on the lens and in the hookups and also that the discs are not scratched. (I'm running out of ideals if you can't tell )
those are new games and my older really scratched games work perfectly.but now im thinking of getting a widescreen tv that is about the same size or a little bigger with high def. how much would that probably cost? cause this is getting to be too much trouble.
Try messing with the settings on the console. My tv had this (17inch) but I found out the consoles thought it was a widescreen tv
