PS1 backup question

    So I recently installed a MultiMode 3 modchip in a PS1, and I am having some problems playing backups. The console goes to the Playstation verification screen but after that the game doesn't boot. It still plays retail games, so I didn't kill the console. :p

    I should also note that I finally got a game to load, but it is sporadic. At least I know the chip works, now I just need to know how to properly burn the discs.

    I got it working!

    For anyone with the same issue, you should use high quality CD-Rs (I swear by Verbatim), burn at low speeds (4x works), and I used the program Alcohol 120% on Play Station (yes, that is how they list it) mode set to RAO DAO.

    As a note, you should always use high quality mediums when running backups.
