nice tut as always but i would argue that the placement of the text on the fixed one is awful, it is to high up and as it is a long name it becomes an eyesore. i'd say the first one was better it's just it was over whatever those blocky things are and instead of moving all the way across just move it down. you get the idea you can't really teach a format to text placement as it depends on many factors and preferences but the third rule works so nice idea but think long text placed in the open messes up the look of a sig
yeah I took that old sig for an example with big name, too make it look weird. just about the placement.
