It's not a ROM problem, that much I can tell you.

And what you specified isn't your RAM, it's your hardisk size.

Which games are you trying to emulate?

I'd also like to ask something about this emulator.

Some games like Mario tennis have crappy graphics during the replay of your winning or loosing shot.

My PC's beefy enough to run the emulator:

    Intel Pentium D 925
    512 gig RAM
    GeForce FX5500

So it's probably not my system, is it the ROM or just an emulator flaw?

    poor emulator configuration most likely.

Does Project64 support the Pokemon stadium games? I mean can it read GBC ROMs & load it for use in the battle stadium??

I don't believe you can use the transfer pak functionality on an emulator.

It's an emulator issue. When you run the emulator, the issue is noted on the load page. Make sure you have the updated RDB & GameFAQ.
They can be found here: http://www.pj64-emu.com/downloads/Download/Project64/Updates/
Also, make sure you have the current version of PJ64 while you are there - 1.6 is out of beta now.

Other games like Rayman64 and Excitebike64 have similar issues that are noted on the emulator's frontend. For Rayman, it is noted that the "lum" color in the game is messed up, and for Excitebike, it tells you up front that the game will probably run slow.
PJ64 is the best there is when it comes to N64 emus.
I have never had a problem with slowdown, but then again I am running an Athlon 64X2 6000+, 4G 800Mhz RAM 4-4-4-12, Dual GeForce 8800GTS 640Mb in SLI, so even Crysis on the higher graphics settings runs near 65 FPS.

But, I DO have problems with some of the graphics glitches as you noted above especially in Mario Tennis, so that is proof that it is the emulator, not the ROM or your rig causing the issues.
