Project 64 1.7.0.55 Error

    Hey Everyone!

    My friend just got the latest version of Project 64 but he is having a problem. Every time he loads up a ROM, he get the error codes "Failed to Initialize DirectX. Error Code 8876086A. D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE". He has the latest drivers for his "nVidia GeForce Go 6100" Graphics card. And has the latest DirectX build. What should he do?

    P.S. He has Windows Vista 32-Bit OS.

    Probably not compatible with that version of DirectX? Try using an older one?

    Alright, he's trying right now. I'll keep you guys updated to see if it works or not.

    Ok, I'm back. So he tried DirectX Versions 9, 10, 7 and 8. None of them work... We were going through his driver's list a nd found something that may be going towards the not workingness of the PJ64 Emulator. His Coprocessor driver and his Mass Storage Controller driver are missing... could that be a problem or not?

    probably its not compatible with vista.

    Actually, he has better updated plugins.... I actually think he has a newer build of the program than I do.

    The 1.7 is supposed to be a beta though.

    Well there you go, if it's still in Beta they might haven't worked out all of the bugs yet
