program to burn ps2 games

Hi, can any one help? i want to download PS2 games then burn them, but not sure which program to use to do it, and how to do it,can anyone help.many thanks Gunder

 

After you download them, use imgburn to burn the iso/bin/img file to a dvd-r disc.

i have found the image file and bin but not the ISO????

 

oh...bin and iso are just different forms of a digital copy of a disc. ISO is the most common, but you can also use .bin files as well.

don't worry which one it is. just extract the disc image from the .rar file or if it's already out, then just burn it with imgburn to the dvd-r disc.

 

then do i use, write image file to disc?

 

yes. you use that option and then select the image file that you want to burn and then select the burn speed to 4x for best quality.

1x speed does fine for me.


Etheir way, no more than 4x.

 

i use mepis linux to download and burn my wii/ps2 games. it only has 4x as minimum....so i'm not familiar with the speeds of imgburn! XD

1x would be WAY better than 4x though. and would be nice in K3B (multimedia burner).

 

and what disc's do i use DVD or CD

 

DVDs, and only use DVD-R, do not use RW, since they won't work with burned games.

Make sure it's a quality disc, not a cheapo brand.

Depends on game size.

Ridge racer 5 and rez are cd based games, they use less than a GB and fit.


Also funny enough, all of my dvd+ burnt games seem to wrk, but dvd- is advised.

 

i have a probably dumb question...
can you burn PS1 games to DVD and then play them on modded PS2?
