Proffesor Layton DS ROM won't run on any emulators i saved to my comp. Help !

like the title says. This is my first time trying to use an emulator. I just downloaded the prof. layton DS rom from this site. Then i went to www.emulator-zone.com (or whatever that link on this site is) and downloaded a DS emulator. After it finished downloading, i openend up the emulator and then went to File, the open, and when i go to the folder where i save the rom, it isnt showing up.

So, i tried every DS emulator on the site and had the same problem.

what am i doing wrong??

 

ok, so i did that and now i got it to start using one of the DS emulators (i forget which one) but it freezes right at the begining of the game when it says "enter your name". Or maybe its not freezing and im just pressing the wrong keys or somehing. I dont know.

Can someone please download prof. layton and try to play it on a DS emulator on the computer and then let me know which works?

Try using no$gba and change the settings around. Also you need to have a decent computer.

 

that and you enter your name by actually writting it

 

my only problem with this game is that when I save I can't seem to load... anyone have any ideas on how to fix this little problem... I'm using no$gba if that helps

 

Change the save type around in the emulation options until you can save and load it.

umm i've been sitting for a day to try and work out the save and load settings for No$ 2.6 with professor layton. I'm empty handed, no setting i use wants to save and i have a saved file(i have no idea how i got it) but it says its corrupt on FRAM 32K byte setting. no other setting will read the saved file.

Does anyone have specifics for me, because im kind of out of ideas.
