Professor Layton and the Unwound Future

Yeah...so I figured with the release of the latest Professor Layton we might as well have a place to ask our troubles with answers since a complete walkthrough will take months if not weeks.

My first question is how do you solve puzzle No. 029 Our Dream House?

when I restart the game
it does not recognise my save game and it says only

''new game''

If someone knows a solution I'm listening.

Meanwhile I'll try the clean ROM



I'm using an Acekard 2i with AKIO 1.7.1 with a 4Gb Micro Sd card

I've formatted my Sd card and put everything back and now
my save game does work

 

@Fire_Ice: i can test it out and see if i can resolve it cause i have an acekard also, going to download it and report back in awhile

formatting my Acekard and put everything back.

I've started the game over and I can play it
without any problem now.

Note: I use the Venoms release ROM

The clean Rom goes to black screen when starting a new game

 

well, ok x_x the reason for the black screen could be due to the AP on the game, you have to keep that in mind

 

Yeah most games have AP nowadays so watch out if you have R4 v1.18, Acekard, etc.

 

AK2i running AKAIO is really good with AP...

 

That's if you update your firmware regularly.

and i was sick today so i could beat the game instead iof going to school i beat it in 9.37 hours

 

Glad I wasn't the only one with the black screen. I was just about to ask before I read this. It's just a matter of updating the firmware on the Acekard?

 

No I just formatted my SD card and put AKIO and my games back on it
start over the game and it will run like a charm. (in my case)

Note I use VENOMS ROM

Hey, I got a problem. When the speaking and stuff is all done the screen goes black for a video or something. But that never loads..

Nah. The story doesn't end there. I'm up to 9hrs and I'm back at the hotel after going up that stupid tower.
