I downloaded the game evil zone, and I recorded the ISO file on a cd with image burn, but when I tried to play it on my playstation,it didn´t loaded. I think I may have burned it wrong,so I would like to know the right way to do it(as to be sure). Thanks in advance

Make sure to burn the image file (ISO etc. whatever) at the lowest speed possible, on a good or decent quality brand, like Verbatim, or TDK. But if you have any brand, most likely it'll work fine for a while.

also your playstation needs a modchip to play burned games.

my old ps1 has to be placed on its right side to work with burn games

something to do with old laser not reading burn games well

but place on its right side and every game works every time

My old Playstation had to be placed upside down to read any games :)

But that's a problem with the laser, it's intensity and it's mounting bracket being warped by heat. You can fix it by adjusting the amplifying screw on the inside of the playstation. I think it was about a quarter of a turn and I no longer had to play it upside down.

    Hi,

You know, you could just buy a new PS-One and a copy of Breaker Pro. Boot discs are a relatively safe way of playing backups without voiding your warranty or damaging the hardware. Just a thought...

Heed the advice of Anandjones especially! Even I screwed a few copies because I didn't follow this veritable tenet.

    Hope that helps.

Well, actually I´m using my PS2(and it has the mod chip),but I know it reads burned cds/dvds because I already downloaded games and played them on it.
BTW,what´s the "lowest speed"? I tried it on 1x and it still doesn´t pass from the PS logo screen :/
Would it be possibly to just burn the cd with nero? What´s the difference??
Oh,and I´m using any brand of cds I can find in the house, mostly verbatim.

1x is recommended. It could just be your modchip is acting up. Because you're doing the two recommended things, burning at lowest speed, and on a good brand CD.

I really don´t know, because I have tried other games(both for psx and ps2) and they all work fine.I guess the chip is fine as well, cuz the games I used are also isos burned on cd/dvd. I´ll just give it another try,and if it doesn´t works... then I´ll just have to try and find it some other way :/

perhaps its the game itself? have you tried playing it in an emulator to see if it progresses?

I am also having trouble with a psx game

the game is called bomberman party

I am downloading EVIL ZONE and will report if it works for me

could you try BOMBERMAN PARTY and see if it works for you ?

I would be very thankfull as I want to know if it is the game itself

I did not have enough points to get the game from here so I got it from ZOPHAR.N*T and it works fine

I used IMG burn and have verify disc option checked off

a bunch of sector errors came up and I just clicked continue to verify

    I am playing it now

    any luck trying BOMBERMAN PARTY?

Did you burn those games yourself then?
