Hi there, newbiw here. I have been downloading ROMs for the past few days, after discovering this site, as it is probably the best for ROMs. However, I have been unable to gain access to the download section at all.

Could it be that my ISP has blocked the site? Has anyone else had problems?

    Do you have enough points?

I can't even get onto the site to get points! The site does not even exist even though I was downloading freely yesterday.

I can access it via my mobile phone internet.

Wondering if other people are having similar problems.

Check your firewall, it is a download site after all and i had some problems with it in the past (few months ago) make sure the firewall isn't bocking it without saying it to you (that happened with me, dunno how though)

    Just tried that, no good.

I suspect Virgin have blocked the address.

Try using a web proxy such as hidemy.info to gain access, if that works then your ISP has most likely blocked the site yes.

Interestingly used Mozilla and it worked fine. Mist be IE playing up as usual.

Firefox works just fine (with some errors now and then ^^)

Some errors now and then? Do tell about those errors, because they're not supposed to be there.

Nothing that you need to know (general error on firefox in general not on romulation)
    sorry for the misunderstanding ;D

But if you wish to know: The browser keeps crashing as i have too many tabs (ehm how you call them?)

So basically the site is no longer compatible with IE. Strange that it should have this today when it worked fine yesterday......

Yeah I cannot explain what changed but it should be fixed now, at least IE loads fine.

Some things aren't to be explained, they have to be experienced ;p

Firefox is know to have problems managing memory when a lot of tabs are open, the only thing you can do is periodically kill it using ctrl + alt + del, selecting firefox.exe in the process list and ending the process, then restart it again. if you have around 30 tabs open for 2 weeks (if you never shut your computer down) you'll find that it starts using 100% of your CPU too.

Ok, and why excactly did you test that?
    ;D ;D

I didn't test anything, it's something I have experienced in normal use.

And now bizarrely, for no reason at all, IE seems to be loading up the site fine.

Conclusion: IE is a pile of s**t
