Problem

I cant seem to find a good emulator for Nintendo DS games
i downloaded DeSmuME, but i can only get one Japanese game to work (i dont speak Japanese)
can somoene give me a site where i can download a good emulator, and possibly a site with working ROMs
(i apoligize if this is in the wrong Forum)

 

This is not a bug. The best NDS emulators are no$gba and iDeaS. You can get the latest no$gba from here. https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php/topic,4936.0.html

 

Try No$GBA 2.6a which you can get here. All the ROMs here work fine, its usually a problem with the emulator.

Anyways, moved to the proper section.

 

Ok Ive Downloaded the emulator you gave me, then when its finished i click OPEN and an internet explorer window opens, then closes before it loads, then opens again, then closes etc etc
i know its a problem with a setting or something i have on my computer, but i dont know what

 

You save the emulator, not run or open it.

So you've saved it on your computer, now do you have a .nds or .gba rom? Because all you have to do is drag the rom onto the emulator.

 

i cant use the emulator, i click on it and it opens up an internet explorer window like i said
and yes i have a few roms for ds and gba (my gba ones are working)

 

You want to click Save once the little window pops up. Then it will ask you where to save it on your computer.

 

yes i know that ive already saved it on my computer, then after ive downloaded it (its saved to the computer) i click open, and that internet explorer thing happens
if i try to open it up after i downloaded it, or any time at all the internet explorer thing happens

 

Oh I see. You see I forgot that in Internet Explorer, when you download something a little window pops up showing how long until you got it's done. And then once it's done, if you didn't change the setting to automatically close it once downloads are done, there should be 3 or so buttons, with Open, something else, then close. You want to click Close, not Open. Then you can extract it, and play some games.

 

ok thanks, but how exactly do i extract it, i dont see any "extract" option when i highlight it
