I was using R4i-SDHC (with the exclaimed version mark) since few months ago I had stopped playing it but weeks ago I returned playing it however, I got the error of "Please check your System date" That time I was not aware of changing the system year back to 2009 will do So I assume it was outdated system 's fault So , ya, I went updating my NDSi system to the latest one... WITH MY CART IN I have the error of "An error has occurred please turn the system off and refer to the Manual for troubleshooting" And I don't know how should I fix it I had formatted it, updating its kernel manually but none of them works.. :'(
You need to put latest firmware onto micro chip (v1.46b ) You then need to find some-one with a Ds/Ds lite and tap the third icon tab You will get config and update on screen Hit update and it will take 5 mins to put info onto your cart You should now have miami nights 3d ubisoft showing Games should now work (hope this helps)
I think that is the fake game. Flashcarts aren't appearing like 'R4i' or 'EZ Flash VI' in the main menu because they will be picked up as illigal
You have updated you dsi to nintendo,s latest version, so it will not work with your card any-more. You need to find some-one with a nintendo ds or ds lite so you can overwrite the info on your dsi! If you scroll through flashcart problems you will see lots of answers to your problem! If you card is from ww.r4i-sdhc,format you microchip and just follow my earlier instuctions and your card will work. Your biggest problem is to find a ds or ds lite to use to overwrite what nintendo have done to the dsi ,they can download anything to your dsi (if you use their system update menu, section 4 on system settings.
So.. 1) Format 2) Put in file (I saw the latest file is V1.11c, does it work too?) 3) Put in the backed up games 4) Put into another NDSi unupdated and update the R4i through the section 5) So that your R4i has been disguised as a new card to scam my DSi? 6) Put in , works again?
If your card is from http//:www.r4i-sdhc (Go to their site) 1) Download relevent kernal to card (1.46b) 2) Open up file 3) Copy files to card 4) The card then needs to be put into ds or ds lite (not dsi) 5) Tap third icon and press update (this takes 5 mins) 6) Put games back onto card 7) Games should now work
R4i works even on DS Lite ?!!! O_O !!!!! Wait... can't I update it manually? Like... Somebody uploads the updated files i overwrite it.. can't I ?
O.k all i,me trying to do is help you!!! look at the forum and you will see plenty of idiots that play around with thier dsi and when they f*** it up they ask for help? If it was that easy as you think i would tell you. Nintendo want to block all flashcarts, the ds (NOT DSI) cannot be updated by themselves as it has,nt got wi-fi,so all you are doing is putting original info from the ds(NOT DSI) back onto you card At the end of the day it,s your fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are an Fing star andyfm thanks a million. A friend bricked theres after claming they did nothing and it just stoped working!! bearing in mind she's in her 40's and is the sole user!!!! just done as you said as my girls have the normal '2nd edition' DS easy as shelling peas! all you lot who are having difficulties in understanding this simple operation clear need to find someone who has a bit more experience with this kind of thing! Again thanks aalot
