Problem with R4DS SDHC Cheats

Hello Everyone,
I have recently been experiencing problems with cheats on my R4DS SDHC.
When I decide to use cheats, I have to press enable cheat. So, I enable it and check the cheats I want to use. Then I go back to the cheat menu to check to see if they're enabled.
But, the cheat enable is unchecked. All I want is to use cheats, so could anyone help me.

Choose Save & exit.
If you choose Discard & exit it will not be saved.

here is a problem with some flashcards such as the R4DS and all of its clones (M3 Simply, N5DS, ect) which limits the number of cheats that are displayed for games. This means that cheats for games that appear at the end of the cheat file are not displayed, this includes games for The World Ends With You, Yu-Gi-Oh, Trauma Center and others.

You have four options, the first is to get a new flashcard, the second is to delete the games from the cheat file you don't plan to use, the third option is to move the games to the top of the list and the fourth option is to use an alternate firmware/loader for your flashcard such as YSMenu, AKAIO and so on.

Before posting about games not having cheats in the forums, please check the GameList.txt file to see if the game really does have cheats.

R4 doesn't save cheats.

In my previous post I told that R4 has a limitation off cheats.

Keep the cheat.dat file below the 2 MB and every cheat will work.

If your R4i still doesn't save your selected cheats it can be that
your firmwire is a bit corrupted, then backup your SD and format it and putt
everything back on your SD and try again

 

It isn't R4i. And the cheats are deselected, so it still doesn't solve the problem.

 

That's my problem basically, I'll try the 2MB thing and reply saying if it works or not.

EDIT: It didn't work, plus my file was under 2MB. It was like 1,450 KB.

The firmware I have is v1.21 because it's the only firmware that allows
me to have cheats and a very cool theme.

 

Try looking on this site and try kernel 1.26 I used the 1.26 on my old R4
before it got stolen and it worked fine.

I still think that the problem is your firmwire reinstall it and let us know
how your progress goes

 

Thank you. but everytime I decide to update my firmware it always pops up with a purple screen as the main screen and a metal rock theme when in the Games folder (which doesn't allow me to use cheats even if installed into the R4). Plus you said that you used a R4, mine is a R4 SDHC.
I may try but if it pops up with a Purple Theme Screen, even after putting themes in, I'll be putting up another thread.

 

Here it does too. Nothing to worry about, but it's annoying.

 

When I had my R4 SDHC (it got stolen with my DS lite)
and my R4i RTS which I still have and use for anime and music

I had these problems to with cheats and the latest games.

So in order to solve that I ordered a Acekard 2i and every problem is solved.

They are the best flashcards there are.
